This report presents the findings and recommendations of ARTICLE 19 Senegal and West Africa Office regarding the human rights situation in Senegal, with a particular focus on freedom of expression, access to information, and media freedom. The report is based on extensive research, including consultations with civil society organizations, journalists, human rights defenders, and other stakeholders in Senegal.
The aim of this report is to provide constructive recommendations to the government of Senegal to address human rights challenges and to improve the promotion and protection of freedom of expression and information in the country
